Visitors from Asia at IST METZ

Printing press and UV systems manufacturers invited potential customers

Nuertingen, 28 May 2014: At the end of May, IST METZ GmbH welcomed a group of visitors from Asia who was on a tour across Germany organised by Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.

On May 21 and 22 the potential customers from Asia were guests of UV systems manufacturer IST METZ in Nuertingen. Around 60 representatives from print shops in Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan and from the Philippines got to know the company in the framework of a one-week visitors’ tour of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.

After the first three days in Heidelberg at the headquarter of the long-standing partner of IST METZ they visited several regional print shops and finally IST METZ. “All the production plants of our UV systems are located in Nuertingen which is a great advantage for us because we can offer potential customers a comprehensive insight into our facilities here”, said Dirk Jägers, Managing Director of IST METZ. In presentations and a company tour the visitors learnt about the advantages of the units that dry inks and varnishes by means of UV light. Various UV finishing possibilities and an innovative linkage to electronic media was shown using the example of the UV DAYS packaging which was developed and produced in-house and has won several prizes.
